RUSTV2 will be wiping on 7/22/2023 at 7 AM Pacific Time. With it will bring several new updates...

Unofficial Changelog:

New set of QOL items intended for later wipe, to reduce farming
This wipe I've added various items to cut down on farming needed. You will be able to purchase all these items for C4/Explosives from a new villager in the safe-zone. You can buy a recycler, orepiles, mining machine (overpriced on purpose), vehicle workstation, etc.

Some of the new items include:
  • Tiered Blast Furnaces. Each tier provides more efficient smelting, and a larger input inventory. The last tier, Legendary, even exceeds a regular furnace in coal->ore efficiency.
  • Upgrades for mining machines. This village sells individual upgrades for applying to your mining machines (Up to Legendary), which will allow your machine to yield a higher ore/cobble ratio.
  • Farming Robot: This robot will automatically harvest, re-plant, and water your plants even while you're offline. All you need to do is give it water every once in awhile, and of course empty it's inventory. Very useful robot capable of opening your doors, and managing a large farm with little effort.

Re-designed 4 seater helicopter
I decided to recode the 4 seater helicopter since it's handling is utterly terrible compared to newer generation vehicles like the attack chopper. It now handles similar to the attack chopper, but is a bit slower. It has lost the ability to pickup vehicles using the SPACE key however, as I deemed it a little strange for a tiny helicopter to have such a capability and instead decided to keep that among the Large Helicopters.

Replaced Vehicle Mod System with UPGRADE System

The mod system always felt strange, and never really fit in the fast paced world of rustv2 where vehicles are quickly destroyed. Instead, I made a new upgrade system to easily change your vehicles, upgrade their armor/weapons, or just add a lock to prevent axe gangs from stealing your stuff. The system is a lot more easy to understand, and streamlined. I also now sell the workstation in the safezone to make it easier to obtain it

To use this new system, you simply need to park your vehicle on top of a Vehicle Workstation, and a menu will pop up with the available upgrades.

Since this system is a lot more simple, I plan on adding additional upgrades in the future

Better Nitrogen gun
Buffed to the extreme! It now has the ability to freeze doors for 6 minutes. Makes it a PERFECT tool for going in deep, without having to worry about doors closing behind you. This was added last wipe for testing

New Teleporter System
This was actually added during last wipe, but nobody seemed to notice.

You can now use your teleport pads to teleport ANYWHERE on the map. You simply click the pad, it'll open a URL prompt to which you then click, and find a place on the RustV2 map. Once a link opens, you or your team can teleport there until your link is destroyed by a curious PH.

New radiation loot zone



Changes/additions added during last wipe:

New duel tournament system

A new tournament system that uses random duel maps, and random kits will run about every 1.5 days. Winners 1-3 get ranks at the end of the duel tournament.

New Mob Wave Defense Minigame Tournament
A new tournament was added where you must fend off 5 waves of mobs. Picking up enderchests will yield upgrades, or abilities. If you manage to survive the whole game, you'll be rewarded up to 400 minigame points depending on your performance in-game. This is a fully PVE event, with no PVP to be had.

Nerfs:
  • Dolphin perk's delay was set to 6 seconds, from ~2. It was also made to be more consistent in terms of jump height (Small bug was messing with it)
  • A bug that was causing damage to incorrectly stack, resulting in insane damage output was CORRECTLY. No idea how long this bug has existed for, but it essentially made a double black set get grinded in a matter of seconds which is not good.
  • REMOVED damage reduction from block-hitting. Blocking STILL WORKS, but block-hitting has been removed. It was too inconsistent, abused by macro users, and was far too RNG.
  • AA-12 was slightly nerfed
PVP Mechanic changes:
  • Reloading while still having rounds in your magazine results in a slightly faster reload speed
  • Reloading will show a countdown. This is to help during intense battles when you can't hear anything but shooting
  • Fixed rare block-place cancel bug finally. This would result in blocks not being placed
  • Auto-clicker nerfer. After someone is detected for autoclicking, their CPS and damage will be nerfed
  • Improved the Tornado Mythic Diamond sword by applying a constant damage while people are effected.
  • Gun knockback has been tweaked, resulting in better fly consistency even among laggy ass PH
  • Some gun damage mechanics have been tweaked
  • Javelin's tracking is now a bit better, making it harder to escape the missiles
  • SPAS-12 has been BUFFED. Especially against groups of people
  • Desert eagle has been BUFFED
  • AA-12 has been slightly
Notable updates
  • Random portal teleports are more safe/random and avoid areas with autoturrets
  • Bandits have improved door handling. They still aren't perfect, to make it a bit easier to kill them rather then fighting 10 at once
  • Enabled Legendary KOTH events (Accidentally disabled)
  • Rare KOTH's are now only 5 minutes
  • Fixed bug with bounty timer
  • Lowered the time you need to hold a bounty
  • Hovercrafts now hover on water
  • Improved dungeon generation
