RUSTV2 will be wiping on 1/14/2023 at 7 AM Pacific Time. With it will bring several new updates...

(Note: I am still actively working on the server, so more updates may be added to this list daily)

  • /Further optimized dungeon generation
  • /Optimized/modified random pile populator
  • /Lowered durability damage to military from barret
  • /Nerfed Enderhand's team scaling difficulty a bit
  • /Fixed issues with enderhand not always repairing swords

The Exclusion Zone
All new, fairly large loot zone built my me and enderkitty. I made this zone somewhat reminiscent of the STALKER series. It'll be a great source of aloe, and other difficult to find materials. Chests? Nope. You loot anomaly's, which is somewhat a puzzle to do.

This area introduces three new entities, one being a neat new miniboss.

Additional blocks
I decided to add some new blocks mostly for building. Concrete, which is one C4, and reinforced concrete which is two. Both these blocks are craftable from the start, but not up-gradable beyond reinforced. H





Donation stores

Since Tebex finally retired their legacy system, we're now forced to use their checkout pipeline which forces large fees on certain country's. Some of you have probably noticed Premium has gone from $25, to maybe around $30. This is no accident, Tebex has many new annoying fees. Thankfully, they've also introduced several new payment methods!

It's still very WIP, but should be at least operational by the time our server wipes.


New /war Changes

Since /war was released, many have been loving it, and others have been abusing it every chance they get. This wipe however, I've incorporated several changes that should hopefully eliminate abuse.

These changes are:
1) Anti-abuse monitor system that'll terminate wars once it detects abuse
2) If you're kicked from a war, you'll be teleported home
3) If a player is interfering with your war, you and your enemy(s) will be teleported to a new random location on the map

I'm still open to making several new changes to correct this system. This new teleportation on interference system I believe will mostly the issues or at least allow a non-abusers to make an escape.

Optimized map pre-rendering and dungeon info
These are tasks that happen before the server lets players in. I've optimized them significantly, with more optimizations coming in the future, using new IO tricks avaiable on PCI SSD drives to load/process data at extreme rates. The optimizations to dungeons is mostly re-working my lighting engine once more to generate light for thousands of newly generated chunks in a matter of ~2 seconds. Most dungeons now generate entirely in under 50ms, which is insanely fast and opens the possibility of dungeons completely re-generating every time they're closed without impacting server performance!

I also managed to fix the longstanding Talon bug which ended up being far weirder then I could of ever believed.
