In this case, it doesn't matter that he started the video at that point because it's super obvious that you know exactly where he is. He fell off the edge before you could even make it up to the top. How could you have possibly known he was hiding in that little spot under the stairs?

You literally jumped down aiming straight at him when there's really no way you could have seen him.
